Eight SA communities have their say

Posted 5 September 2016

Face-to-face forums across South Australia continue this week as the nuclear state-wide consultation program enters its sixth week of visits to more than 100 metropolitan, regional and Aboriginal communities.

Eight locations will be visitied this week, providing South Australians with the opportunity to learn the facts about nuclear through a series of interactive displays, videos and fact sheets, with experts on hand to answer questions.

The consultation team will be at the following locations during the week:

2 - 11 September: Royal Adelaide Show
5 September: Port Wakefield
6 September: Yorketown
7 September: Umuwa Aboriginal Community
7 September: Kadina
8 September: Fregon Aboriginal Community
8 September: Port Pirie
9 September: Mimili Aboriginal Community

Members of each community will be able to discuss their views with the consultation team, and provide feedback by filling out a survey which to help inform the Government's decision at the end of the year.
